Past commentary on County O&G Regs
The first version of Larimer County's oil and gas regulations were the first time that local rules could be adopted under new legal powers created by SB-181. Unfortunately, the two Republican commissioners, Tom Donnelly and Scott Johnson, overruled the one Democrat commissioner, John Kafales, and engineered a weak set of regulations that essentially changed nothing and allowed the industry to continue to operate as usual.
